Welcome to Day 2 of the Convertible/Reversible Bag tour!
Today I’m feature 2 more talented blogger/sewists who took on the Convertible/Reversible bag and triumphed! Today we’ll visit:
Lynn Potts of PottsCrafty
Marilyn Brandt from Shades of Bold
(scroll down to see the line-up for the rest of the week)
First up today is Lynn Potts of PottsCrafty ! Lynn lives and works in Cambridgeshire, England. She is a mum of two lively boys, and has a very un-crafty day job as a software tester. In her ‘spare’ time (that being the time remaining at the end of the day after small children are in bed and in which she has to prioritise – sewing or household chores?) she loves to make dresses and bags which she sells via her website www.shewearsredfeathers.co.uk. Lynn was also on the Convertible/Reversible Bag test team and is a really lovely person!
Next we have Marilyn Brandt from Shades of Bold After leaving her job in 2012, Marilyn rediscovered her passion for sewing and thinks there is nothing better than turning fabric into great handbags! Her blog, shades of BOLD, shares all things handmade but mostly those addictive handbags! Marilyn’s bag turned out so cute! While you are on her blog, take a moment and check out all her bags – this lady has some skills!
Winner’s choice of an Ordinaire Wire Wrap from Frenchie
Winner choice of a pdf pattern from Mo’s Pattern Shop
2 – one yard cuts of Joel Dewberry fabric from the Notting Hill Collection
To enter: visit one (or all!) of the bloggers featured today and look for the giveaway widget. Don’t worry if you miss a day – all the giveaways will be open on each blog through August 3rd. The lucky winners will be announced August 4th on here, the Cozy Nest Facebook page, and the winners will be notified through email.
Here’s a sneak peak of Wednesday’s Giveaway!
I’ll tell you all about it is tomorrow!
In case you missed it, this is the bag we are touring the blog-o-sphere to see!
The Convertible/Reversible Bag!
This unassuming little bag hides a secret… she can convert and reverse into 4 different bags in 2 completely separate colorways and styles! The pattern includes instructions for laminated cottons as well as regular fabric. Don’t you think it would make a great gift? And, it’s perfect for travel, 4 bags in 1 means more room in your luggage for shoes! It’s the wackiest design I’ve come up with yet and I just love it -I hope you do too!
